What is wholesale VoIP?
Wholesale VoIP is the carrier-to-carrier side of voice. Instead of selling minutes to end customers, a provider sells call routes and minutes in bulk to other carriers, ITSPs, telecom aggregators, and mobile operators, who terminate that traffic on their own networks or resell it. Calls travel over IP, usually SIP, between your switch or SBC and the provider's network.
